Here the rosehips jumper on me. Please excuse the creases in the skirt. The picture was taken after a busy day at work when I walked Siobhan to the train station. I'm not so sure what I'm doing with my hands there ...? Anyway, I found a skirt to go with the jumper at the back of my wardrobe, literally. I had almost forgotten I had this H&M checked skirt. I remember that when I bought it years ago it didn't fit, but I liked it so much (I love checked fabrics) that I bought it anyway, as an incentive to become thinner, which never happens anyway. At least not when you diet. Only when you decide to go no sugar as I did a year ago and the kilos just melt off you.
I thought the skirt was a bit too short so I lengthened it as much as I could by about two centimetres. Still a bit on the short side, I think, but I don't want to complain. I finally get to wear the skirt that I bought although it didn't fit me and I don't need to buy a new one. I find that very satisfying.
Now, wearability. It feels very luxurious on the skin, as you would expect with silk. It's a very nice fit and very comfy, though it does slip off the shoulders now and then. But it's not too bad. All in all I think I would make another and not change much.
